The most important event is our August Folk Fiesta held in the Nature Center (Centre de la nature) in Laval. It is a latino-american folk festival held on the third Sunday in August from one to six pm. You will see folk dances from Peru, Columbia, Chile, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, Costa Rica as well as other countries as well as Quebec.
